Hosts: These guys really made the experience great, and you do genuinely feel like you're being welcomed into someone's home. Very friendly, very helpful, and nice to chat with. They also did a same-day laundry service, which is pretty amazing! Room: My room was one of the small ones, so there wasn't much of a view or too much natural light; however, it was super clean, really comfortable, with a great shower and bathroom, decent storage, and super-fast internet. If you need a solid base to crash and want something great value, then this is a good way to go. Location: Great if you're exploring Old Town and about 4-5 mins away from the river. It's quiet, too, which is nice at night. There are a load of places to eat as you exit the alley, and local cafes. Overall: Very positive. Clean, great hosts, great location, and excellent value.

Staff was very nice, breakfast is very good, the hosts speak decent english and are very accomodating

The room was humid, the smelled of moisture and had moldy walls that were painted over. It does not need a fresh coat of paint, it needs proper plumbing and ventilation

I think the staff was the best part of this homestay. The family was so sweet. They handled laundry, taxi, early check in, and luggage storage. The location was very convenient. You were within 10 minutes walking of old town and a variety of tailors. Whatever wasn’t in short walking distance was an easy Grab ride away.

A modern A/C system would be nice! The fan was serviceable though. Not a dealbreaker in January.
