Esther's Homestay - Big Room 26m2 chez l'habitant

Esther was extremely friendly and kind. Although the house is not in the center, it is close to public transportation and there is free parking in front. The house overlooking Lake Zurich was very clean and comfortable.

The location was perfect, less than a minute's walk to a spot on the lake for swimming. I could see the lake from my room and the room was huge, really light and airy with a very comfortable bed.

Esther was a great host and she made sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed.

Pros:- 1. Good accomodation, big and clean room. 2. Silent neighbourhood. 3. Good view of lake from balcony. Cons:- 1. It's far from all the tourist attractions in Zurich. 2. Owner lady doesn't give any privacy with her constant questions and sermons. Self and wife felt like living in school hostel. Too much of interference. 3. There is no lock in the room door from inside.

There is no point having a luxurious room with constant nudging by owner and lack of privacy. Too many don't do this, don't do that. You simply don't feel welcomed. Book only if you want a school hostel experience.

The location was perfect for going down to the lake and to the shops etc. Also a 5 minute walk from the train station. Esther was such a welcoming hostess. Very helpful and kind . Clean and comfortable

Esther is a very welcoming host. Her home is beautiful and we had a very enjoyable stay.
