Guan Ma Homestay

The elderly couple who host the homestay are very nice – they’re warmly welcoming and friendly, and could not have been more highly thoughtful and attentive.

Very convenient location, a short way off the highway but also close to center of Miaoli. Quiet location. A very friendly host. A spacious room.

Only small details: Steep stair to second floor. Shower splashing in the bathroom (no curtain).

Miaoli is a place that for relaxation, hence, Guan Ma did provide a place that clean and comfy to relax ourselves.

No lift. You need to carried your luggage to climb all the up to level 3. If you got knees problem I will not recommend, because the stairs are very steep and narrow. If your luggage is huge and heavy I will not recommend too.

The couple that hosted me were wonderful. We had a lovely, long chat, and a pleasant homemade dinner. It felt like staying woth a friend or a relative. It was exactly what I had hoped for. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Good service, the owner help us to wash the clothes. Great service. The room is big and clean.

I like it, just that location a bit far from the place to visit. Anyway, we are driving, so is still ok and is worth for the amount we pay.

NT1800 is very pricy just for a small room and bediswoodand mattress too thin back will feel pain but Guan Ma & her hubby is extreme nive person like a mother that took care of son

Location too fat from town and too pricy

It’s an old building but cleanliness is really good. Well maintained. Really quiet at night.

Their signature antique bed in double room is too hard. Metal built rooftop when rain dropped it made noises, which is still acceptable.
