Yoga Homestay

On a tout aimé! La gentillesse et l’accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, leurs conseils pour visiter les alentours, la vue au petit déjeuner sur les rizières, le petit-déjeuner… tout était incroyable!

We had such a wonderful stay at Yoga Homestay in Munduk! The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by peaceful rice fields and nature – it really feels like a hidden gem. Waking up here is so calm and magical. The room was super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. You can really tell they take good care of the place. But what truly made our stay special were the people. The owners are incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. You genuinely feel cared for here, and that makes all the difference. The breakfast was also delicious and freshly prepared – the perfect way to start the day. We would 100% recommend staying here if you’re visiting Munduk. Such lovely people, such a beautiful place. We would definitely come back!

De homestay ligt in een rustige straat midden tussen de rijstvelden. Het uitzicht is schitterend. Dan moet je wel de bovenste kamers hebben. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen met thee en kokoscake. De bedden en de douche zijn heerlijk. Mooi terras. Wij waren met de brommer vanuit Lovina. Prima te doen. De waterval moet je zeker bezoeken. Zeker voor de route er naar toe. Je loopt over een smal padje door rijstvelden en schitterende natuur. Is ongeveer 20 min lopen vanaf het beginpunt van de straat. Er zijn warungs en supermarktjes in de buurt maar wij hebben bij de accommodatie gegeten. Er zijn een beperkt aantal keuzes maar heerlijk en de gewone prijs. Er is boven een aparte ruimte om te eten, met mooi uitzicht. Hier is ook het ontbijt.

Er viel niets tegen maar een koelkastje en waterkoker zou nog een mooie aanvulling zijn. Het ontbijt was een eitje met 1 toast en wat fruit. Dat mag wat ons betreft wat meer zijn.

The family was very good to us, and they took care of any needs. The room was good for a homestay, and the breakfast good too. You can take a car for 30 min. and then you are in the jungle. Also a local waterfall is nearby only a 20 min. walk. Amasing view!

Spotlessly clean comfortable room with a great mattress. Lovely staff and very good food (breakfast and dinner). Also good value for money

Nothing much to criticise. It’s helpful to have your own transport as it is a little out of the way. But the owners rent out scooters and provide taxi services.

Personal war sehr freundlich. Kaffee und Wasser gab es kostenlos. Zum Empfang gab es etwas Kuchen.

Trotz abgeschiedener Lage laute Umgebung von der Straße, den Hunden und der Moschee. Reinigungservice, neue Handtücher und Toilettenpapier nur auf Nachfrage. Roller 110ccm war für 125k IDR relativ teuer.

La struttura era pulita e confortevole. Gli host sono stati sempre cordiali e hanno cercato sempre di aiutarci a risolver qualsiasi piccolo problema (hanno tempestivamente risolto un problema con l'acqua calda ad esempio). Munduk è un posto bellissimo lontano dal caos turistico di Bali e con uno scooter Yoga Homestay è un buon punto per visitare la zona. La colazione è ok, forse con poca scelta ma ha opzioni dolci e salate oltre che caffè e succhi per cui c'è il necessario. Se state cercando una base per esplorare Munduk direi che è il posto giusto.

Ho trovato poco veritiera la descrizione fornita su Booking, la struttura non ha molti dei servizi che vengono proposti, in particolare non è presente un ristorante, c'è solo la possibilità di ordinare cibo da asporto da alcuni Warung nei paraggi. Stessa cosa per la lavanderia o la possibilità di fare yoga e massaggi, tutti servizi di cui non abbiamo potuto usufruire o che sono disponibili appoggiandosi a strutture esterne. In generale non abbiamo riscontrato questa ospitalità e clima domestico di cui parlano tante recensioni, è un buon posto dove dormire e per visitare Munduk ma nulla di più. Consigliamo di mettersi d'accordo con la struttura per il noleggio dello scooter in anticipo. Noi siamo arrivati nel primo pomeriggio sperando di poter noleggiare uno scooter ma ci è stato detto che non c'era disponibilità per quel giorno e avremmo dovuto aspettare l'indomani. Il che è stato molto scomodo visto che la struttura è assolutamente isolata, non ci sono grab e gojak e quindi senza scooter non si può fare molto. Quella sera tra l'altro il servizio per ordinare cibo da asporto non era disponibile e siamo andati a dormire senza mangiare perchè non c'era nessun servizio di ristorazione raggiungibile a piedi.
