The view, of course! The location was peaceful amongst the rice fields and we always looked forward to sitting on the porch at sunset watching all the dragonflies and birds and listening to the call to prayer from the mosques. The bed was big and comfortable as well. Hosts were very helpful and made delicious food for us. It’s a great place to stay on your first or last night in Lombok , close to the airport.

There was a bad sewerage smell in the bathroom whenever we would have a shower, flush the toilet or use the basin tap.

As you are in the nature, be prepared for mosquitos

Amazing place to stay in the middle of the rice fields. Very idyllic and quiet, in the evening you can see bats flying from your room. Ideal spot to stay if you want to do and see the artisan things in the area (Sukarara Weaving Village, Banyumulek Pottery Village, Mataram markets, Lombok Pottery Studio) or for a day trip to Kuta. You can rent a Scooter at the accomodation. Very kind family, they also cook delicious food. Ended up staying a night longer than initially planned as I liked it so much.

Die Frau des Besitzers versorgte uns mit einem frisch gekochten Dinner und Frühstück. Und der Besitzer, mit dem wir stetig via Whatsapp in Kontakt waren, war sehr hilfsbereit. Er hat uns einen privaten Fahrer zum Flughafen für einen fairen Preis organisiert und alles lief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt, um einfach mal abzuschalten. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön und die kleine Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Am Tag haben wir einen langen Spaziergang durch die Reisfelder und die Umgebung gemacht.

Man sollte sich bewusst darüber sein, dass die Unterkunft mitten im nirgendwo ist. Für eine Nacht vor unserem Weiterflug war die Unterkunft perfekt, aber sonst wäre es eher schwierig, etwas zu unternehmen, wenn man nicht selbst mobil ist. Außerdem könnte das Zimmer noch etwas anbieten, wo man Dinge verstauen kann. Die Einrichtung ist doch recht minimalistisch.

Room cleaned and cozy in the middle of nature. Dinner was great and the host supported us with some fruit for breakfast even though we had a very early checkout. We had a transfer to the airport at a good price.
