"Good stay!"

Very cozy, quiet & clean! Good for relaxing and working.. I slept very well. I didn't hear any noise from upstairs and little from the other basement occupant. Wifi worked very well and having a desk was great. Plenty of space in the fridge. Easy parking. It's pretty bright - it doesn't really feel like a basement.

Hard to see house number in the dark. A few more utensils would be nice.

The Host and Hostess are wonderful people. They run a very quiet establishment which was perfect for my needs. They are responsive to questions and provide excellent services like laundry for very reasonable prices. Overall, I recommend Deluxe House for your home away from home.

Deluxe House accommodations met my needs perfectly. There is nothing I did not liken about Deluxe House.

Our experience at "Delux House" is the worst we have experienced in 30 years of traveling. I needed a one night stay in Surrey BC before taking an early ferry the next day to Victoria. It appeared on your web-site that this was a small hotel/motel; however when we arrived it was a private house with three rental units in basement. The small room assigned to us did not have a bathroom and we had to share a common bathroom with other units. However in spite of COVID there were no disinfectants available. Further, there were no towels or soap. This is unacceptable. In the room there was a page outlining their rules etc - it also gave prices for toilet paper, soap etc. The landlady said their web-site showed this page but I never saw it and not sure I was referred to their web-site. Their unusual and confusing rules (because the document was poorely written) should be made clear on the booking.com web-site. Finally they added a $49 cleaning fee when I booked the room; that is also unacceptible. I have told many friends/relatives in Canada not to use booking.com. I would appreciate a response from booking.com in the next week and can send you photos
