Staying at Bao Cheng Home offers a memorable and authentic experience. The traditional Taiwanese-style home provides a unique backdrop for immersing ourselves in the local culture. This homestay also provides an exceptional location that allows us to explore and enjoy the diverse and famous local eateries in the neighborhood. Being able to try a variety of renowned dishes and specialties nearby adds to the overall charm of our stay.

Shower drain clogged so the toilet floor flooding everytime we bath, and the hot water from water heater is difficult to control, I almost burn my fingers when adjusting to suitable temperature.

Cosy home feel at an excellent location near GuoHua street where shops open till night. Staff was friendly and assisted us when we couldnt find the entrance. Place is secure with access lock for main door. The main door is off street view, so it could be difficult to find. No disposable toothbrushes/razors provided, so remember to bring your own. Towels and linens provided. We took the family room (double bed + 2 twin beds). The twin beds are futon mattresses on a platform. Double bed was comfortable. Room was large, toilet was spacious (shower room, no bathtub). No breakfast at the place. Eating area to eat your own takeaway available at the first floor. We signed up for rock climbing with Jim, the owner and it was a great experience.

Felt that dissolvable toilet rolls could be provided instead of tissue papers.

I understand this home wanted guest to experience the old Tainan. But host should have maintained it well. Balcony door are not functioning well and all the window at the room are very dusty. Chairs at balcony are very dirty and we had to ask for a cloth to wipe the chair ourselves.
