The location is awesome for nature lovers. even though the rooms are smaller in size, you will find them clean and highly hygienic. bathroom amenities are great. large vacant area for parking. above all, you will find the owner very very exceptional. he is a very nice gentleman providing you all your needs. he is very very experienced with respect to the area and the flora and fauna there. you don’t need to spend time outside the stay, just speak with him, you will be well engaged. very big farm where you can explore the birds and if lucky some animals.

homely rural location. mr Palia is an unusual host with fascinating history in the locality with lots of stories, very friendly and helpful. we felt included in his old home though our accommodation was modern. we even ended up cooking curry and chapattis together.

The quaint location and the host, Mr.Yazdyi made for a deadly combination. Everything is just right. If you are looking for some time to stay disconnected and connect with nature, walk in the estate or go around to Sultan Battery, this is ideal. No frills. Mornings are covered in mist and evenings have a chill. You will find Deer, cats, monkeys, woodpeckers and Malnad Squirrel moving about.

Nothing in particular. One had to be open minded to enjoy the place.

This place is worth ur time and money. The host is the best I ve so far seen in my travel throughout the Country. He treats u like family.

Our stay at Woodside Homestay has been extremely pleasant. The Homestay is located in the middle of the woods and sitting in the outer balcony area you can see a lot of wildlife and birds passing by. We were lucky to see so many during our stay. Mr Palia is a wonderful host and has assisted us in with the local travel and areas around. We hope to spend more time there in future

Great place to stay. The host made us feel warm and welcome. we had wonderful conversations over his homemade passionfruit wine and specially brewed coffee. He truly cares about his guests and has an ample amount of stories to share. Moreover, we were surrounded by wildlife and coffee plantations, from barking deers to monkeys to malabar squirrels. Highly recommended if one wants an authentic tast of nature in Wayand. We had a lot of zoom calls during our stay and wifi was great speed. 30mb/s
