Forest View - Castlewellan, County Down

The location was great, beautiful part of the world. Lovely hostess, very helpful. Great facilities.

The views are AMAZING. The host family was wonderful. Couldn’t of felt more at home.

Nothing that they could control. The roads a scary in that part of the country, so be prepared to take longer to get to places. But the views made it worth it.

This accommodation is good value for money. The bed is comfortable and it was clean. The host provided home-made scones upon arrival.

The toilet didn't work - it wouldn't flush. From what I was told, it appears this is a recurring problem. I had some difficulty locating the property, with it appearing to be on another road on Google maps on my phone. This is likely not the fault of the host, who indicated in advance that there was an issue and sent instructions. There was a problem with the signal strength for my phone.

The location and scenery was spectacular. The room was stunning

Beautiful location in the countryside. Peaceful stay in lovely surroundings. Very comfortable and Catherine the host was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend. Great location for visiting nearby towns, castlewellan forest park, and nearby beaches.

Brilliant location for walking and for a country escape, it’s a nice cozy private room. Homeowner was incredibly helpful and generous, she often helped us navigate the area since we are not local. People in Castlewellan are also very kind and helped us out a lot.

Only thing that maybe is a slight inconvenience is when booking some taxis or Ubers, even with address inputted correctly you may still need to guide the driver since the location is a tiny bit out of the way.

The room was lovely and clean with a fridge, fresh milk and a variety of drinks. Outside our room was a seat to to look at the surrounding trees and fields; gorgeous scenery. Made to feel welcome with an introduction from the host and fresh scones.

It was just absolutely beautiful from start to finish, the room was exceptional! Catherine was such a lady and made are stay very welcome, we can not wait to get back.

Everything was just perfect.
