Location was perfect with an amazing view. The venue was incredible and very welcoming. Bev, was a very attentive and gracious host. We'll definitely be coming back again, it felt like home away from home.

"Everything we wanted and more!"

It's a beautiful house with stunning decor and a breathtaking view. It felt like home the minute we entered the living area. Everything was clean, accessible and practically stored. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms spotless and a cosy fireplace on each level to help with the chilly winter nights. The wifi connection is strong and fast. We loved every moment.

"Clarens weekend break"

The house had everything we could possibly need, and the bedrooms and floors were surprisingly warm. The view is amazing!!! Using the fire pit during loadshedding showed us the MOST stars that we have seen in a long time. The house is close to the square, and next to a tar road. It is pet friendly, so next time we can bring our doggos with! There is filtered water on tap! The hammock seat on the deck was a favourite! Basic cleaning materials were supplied to us, which meant we did not have to bring them with us. Towels and bedding are nice and crisp and the block out curtains made sleeping in, a bit easier. More than enough lights were supplied for when there is loadshedding, and a kettle to use on the gas stove, plus the wifi kept working! It was just an amazing stay, wish we could stay for longer!

The steep entrance/dip by the gate made it a bit of a challenge to enter with a bike rack on the back of the car, I suspect the same would apply for a trailor. It was not something that we could not work around, but we had to unplug it and carry it in manually.

The property was clean, wide open, spacious and the grounds were amazing. We took one night out to introduce our friend who had traveled from Canada to a proper Braii. The built in Braii was perfect. Close to town to enjoy the restaurants there but you probably don't need to go there. This property was perfect! Thanks Bev, Maria et al!

That I couldn't stay longer. Not their fault but there was another guest. We'll be back!
