"Amazing experience with stunning views"

Views are amazing. Breakfast was simple but tasty. It's not a luxury property but that's clear from the price range too - rooms and bathrooms are basic but clean. Overall great value for money!

We loved the treehouse! Amazing views, quiet location away from the highway, simple yet comfortable accommodation. The owner was very sweet and cooked breakfast for us in the morning. We would love to stay here again someday.

if you want an adventure, not luxury, to merge with nature, to meet the sun in a tree, to feel like you are in the jungle, to get food in the tree, it is really worth staying here for a few nights. We were satisfied with the new experience and unforgettable impressions:)))

View is great, nature around. The woman who works there is very nice.

Very basic accomodation, stinky bed(would be nice to wash bedsheets and pillows some times)

"Unforgettable sunrise views in peaceful rural setting, treehouse above expectation, toilets below."

9.0

Of all the places I stayed during my holiday in Bali this place was the most unique, not only for the novelty of staying in a treehouse, but for the stunning sunrise view over Mt. Batur and Mt. Agung, the tranquil rural setting and sounds, the beautiful gardens on the property and the good breakfast, overlooking it all. Reading the other reviews about the narrowness of the road and the fact that you are left alone in the "jungle" at night, I began to really dread my stay here, imagining that everything would come into the treehouse with me, from mosquitoes to poisonous snakes, and wondering if the units were even equipped with electricity. In fact I was able to charge everything and even get wifi (the router lives at the place where they serve breakfast). The place was nearly impossible to find, but that may have had more to do with the fact that my XL sim card provided no service in this area (get Telkomsel) rendering my navigation apps useless, than with the obscurity of the location. The road did not seem all that narrow (after the much narrower roads I had travelled out to Pura Danu Ulun Tamlingan) and the parking area was ample. I would describe the area as "rural" rather than "jungle", the sounds at night coming mostly from domesticated animals (dogs, roosters, and pigs which I decided were the source of the unearthly sounds that with a little imagination might be attributed to restless spirits). The treehouse itself was comfortable enough and the beautiful fresh air quality did not require air-conditioning. Although certainly not impenetrable to nature without, I checked carefully for bugs, spiders, mosquitoes, reptiles etc and did not see a ONE (only a shy tree frog on the balcony -- which is more than I can say for other, more traditionally enclosed rooms where I stayed in the city of Ubud).

Bedugul is an area with a lot of expensive vs. budget accommodation but I payed about 20% more than I did in Ubud for staying in accommodation without ensuite bathroom. Perhaps lower the price a bit? (you can get a better price on a non-refundable room but I booked the one with free cancellation). The host family was lovely and the mie goreng and coffee I had in the morning were very tasty. I would have liked for it to be served a little earlier than 7.30 so that I could have gotten away for my long drive to Besakih and Lempuyung temples a little earlier than 8 o'clock, and it would have been handy to have the wifi password the night I checked in rather than only in the morning when I came to breakfast. (From the other reviews I was not expecting there to be working wifi, but I found it worked quite well in the cafe area near the router). The bathrooms could do with some improvement, but overall the comfort and cleanliness of the treehouse exceeded expectation. So glad I stayed here!
