Kot Dunara - A 16th Century Castle near Jodhpur

An incredible experience and one we’ll remember forever. To meet the family and have the opportunity to eat home-cooked food while exploring rural Rajahstan was a real privilege. Ajai and his wife were perfect hosts and a huge thank you to Anil, who became a good friend during our stay.

The staff and Mr. Singh are really very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing and very quiet. Mr. Singh has a very good taste of beauty and architecture. The buildings and the garden are really nice.

It is a village in the outskirts of Jodhpur and reachability is a bit challenging.

The property is an old estate pass on to the current owner and has a little history ! The hosts are super friendly and gracious

The overall experience, from the ambiance to the food, to the warm hosts as well as the place itself. We loved it all.

The only qualm we had was that the location was quite far from the main city and if you are a tourist looking to explore the city, it might not be the right choice.

A well maintained ancestral property which will give you mix experience of basic morden facility & surrounded by old architecture, perfect place to take break from the crowd, pure air environment + personal involvement of the owners to take care about the f&b served to taking you to exclusive accessible areas of the property and giving you good history about the space.

1 of the access roads to property village, yes but you can take guidance from property care taker who can help with alternate routes.

I stayed this place with my family for one night. Excellent place with a lot of Indian history coontected to this place. The food was excellent . A must visit place if you don't want to be in the city.
