Castle View Haveli

The stay was fine, the haveli is inside the galli but Mr.Vipin, the manager will help us with ur heavy luggages by sending a house keeper. The haveli is next to Navchokiya galli (blue lanes). This haveli has a roof top, so having food during morning n night times are fab.

The haveli should have a lift.

The ambience...the view..the room service...the food...and the manager Vipin ji and kishan ji who manages the kitchen and the restaurant!

The moholla or the lanes were a bit disappointing...but not the stay....the price of foods may be made a bit less.... foreigners could pay it out easily...but Indians the middle class ones will find it a good bit of higher range...

Really Haveli feeling.

Quite inside narrow lane. No lift facility.

Very friendly staff and the food was good value and tasty. Fantastic views from the terraces. Near the fort entrance. Staff went out of their way to help.

No AC but noisy fans in the room instead. Fine if you have ear plugs. Lots of stairs so not for the elderly.

Die Aussicht ist grandios, wir hatten einen wunderschönen Blick auf den alten Palast sowohl bei Tag als auch in der Nacht. Ein altes Haveli mitten in der Altstadt von Jodphur- welches der alten Königsfamilie gehört und von diesen noch weiter als Hotel betrieben wird. Man muss von der Hauptstraße aus ein Tuktuk nehmen um nach oben zu gelangen. Die Zimmer sind im alten Stil erhalten, solche Gebäude findet man nur in der Gegend von Rajasthan, deshalb unbedingt empfehlenswert. Das Restaurant befindet sich auf der obersten Etage mit einer Rooftop-Bar, das freundliche Personal bringt aber auf Wunsch auch kalte Getränke und das Essen auf den unteren Bereich wo es überall schöne Sitzgelegenheiten gibt. Das Restaurant hat eine gute Auswahl und der Koch spricht gut Englisch und ist sehr freundlich. Wir haben auch den Kochkurs durch das Restaurant gebucht und haben viel über die Rajasthan-Dishes gelernt. Im Bad gibt es auch warmes Wasser und Hygieneartikel. AC funktionierte einwandfrei. WiFi haben wir nicht oft genutzt, funktionierte aber auch auf allen Ebenen.

Man könnte den kleinen Weg zum Hotel täglich reinigen. Ein zusätzliches Laken auf dem Bett.

Internal appearance of the hotel was nice. Could see the castle in the evening. Beautiful viewing area to relax in restaurant as well as one level below restaurant. Clean and tidy.

The access to the hotel was a nightmare. Cars can not reach the facility. You have to hire a tuk tuk from the town. They can take you in narrow alleys but final 100m only by foot. If lots of luggage or heavy luggage - God bless you. On the day I traveled was rainy. The roads were like rivers. The tuk tuk took us in watery alleys like a rowing boat 😁. I was really upset until I entered into the hotel. I thinking what type of hotel I am going to stay but relieved after I entered the facility. Access is the main issue.

The havali is well managed, staff very accommodating. A very nice roof top restaurant with friendly and informative staff. A very nice breakfast was included. Also dinner available and ours was very tasty. The havali is in an excellent location. With the step well, clock tower and fort very accessible.
