I have already visited many places in Indonesia, but I have never met such a fantastic family who welcomed me into their home and I felt like I was at home in my family. I will never forget it. bunaken is in my heart 🥰

Ich hatte hier eine wundervolle Zeit. Die Familie ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben abends mit Oma zusammen Mensch ärger dich nicht gespielt und hatten eine Menge Spaß. Auch das Dinner für 75.000 war jedes Mal mega lecker. Zum Frühstück gab immer genug und eine Menge frisches Obst.

Novita Homestay is a true homestay, you get a room in the family house in the village. For me the location was great, close to the pier, walkable everywhere and you truly feel a part of the very laid back village. The room is basic, but totally sufficient, I was a bit hot but the fan works well and there is mosquito net. Shared bathroom with cold water and wall-mounted shower. No soap, bring yours, but towel is included. Novita is very nice and helpful and speaks good English. And if you stay long enough, you get to meet other members of her family too (her brother Lorenzo has cottages on the east side of the island, great snorkeling right from there!). She has snorkeling equipment for rent, as well as motorbike and a couple of basic bicycles. I spent very relaxing and pleasant 4 nights there. Recommended!

All was great, maybe adding a soap in the bathroom would be nice.

Novita was an amazing host. She was so kind and looked for us very well, even after we got sunburn she cared for us. The food we had was also the best we’d had in Indonesia, truly incredible. Highly recommended. Novita will be your Indonesian muma for the duration of your stay and sort out any problems or organise any trips that you desire for a fair price. I have travelled all over the world to over 50 countries and stayed in 100s of hostels but Novita is one of the best. Thank you for having us in your home. ❤️ Louis and Jess

Everything is very clean, the room was really quite and comfortable, breakfast is great, the location is excellent, and you couldn't ask for better hosts. Thank you Novita and family for a great five day stay with you.
