The staff were very helpful. Lovely authentic place. The terrace had incredible views of the fort

The hot water geyser was very temperamental. Would get very hit then suddenly become very cold.

We loved our stay at Swiss House a lot. After almost two weeks in India and stayed at 5 different hotels, Swiss House was in everything by far the best. The hotel has a nice rooftop with a wonderful view at the old city and especially the Fort. Our room and very specious bathroom were clean. The room wasn’t as cold as the other rooms we have stayed (in January). The staff was very friendly, inviting and extremely helpful. Raju took good care of us. The food was nice, and the drinks were also good. Kailash ji and Gopal (father and son) were very kind. They helped as to find good transport to our next place. Kailash ji brought my husband to a good pharmacist. Swiss House is truly the best!

the neighbourhood however wasn’t as clean. that being said the city itself had a low standard for cleanliness. it was hard to spot the location of the hotel. google doesn’t bring you to the right location.

We stayed for a night. Amazing location-spectacular view of the fort. Great hospitality. Good food. We took a family room. Really Convenient.

Like many hotels in Jodhpur, no elevators. To enjoy the view, you need to climb 5 floors.

1) The property is located in the old city which means most of the tourist places are at a walkable distance. (Mehrangarh fort = 500 mtrs, Toorji stepwell = 150 mtrs) 2) The service provided by Raju and all the staff members was exceptional. Any request put to them was swiftly actioned upon. They also assist you by providing sightseeing options, and also in getting the right price from various auto-wallahs and hawkers. (p.s. You won't get Ola/Uber or any cab services in the old city, and will have to rely on the local autos) 3) Our interactions with Gopal and his father, Kailash ji, who run the place, were always wonderful. Kailash ji, is loquacious and a wonderful storyteller who would keep. Gopal, too, was helpful in making our stay comfortable and helping us with various errands. 4) The rooftop restaurant offers good food (made on demand) and probably the best view of the fort from the old city.
