Claudio is very friendly and helpful, it's a comfortable space for a brief stop while taking in the many sights of Catania.

You could use the kitchen, and the washing machine. Basically it was like a student dormitory or shared apartment. It looked like on the photos. Simple and gave you family and feel good vibes. Supermarket is close and a police station is in the same street, so it should be a safe area. The area is best described with plain "urban". The best thing were the hosts, they didn't just do their job, they went beyond: Answered our questions, gave us tips, told us stories and invited us for pizza and game night and socialised with us and integrated us and treated us like family members. This is probably subjective, but depends on what you want. But our opinion is, that if you visit another country to get to know it better, socialising and learning their habits is part of that experience.

The bed was a bit too short (we are 180 cm and 185 cm guys) The kitchen was not super clean, just normal clean. Take note that we are overly picky persons :) We will go there again, if we should visit Catania :)
