The owners of the homestay are very friendly, this was my first solo vacation in my life and they've helped me so much there. They even carried me back to the homestay from the dock and gave me thier son's jacket for free cuz my silly brain forgot to carry one. They also suggested places and restaurants for me. Everything else is just fine because the price is cheap, for me that's a great steal if you are on a budget.

The homestay is owned by kind and very helpful hosts (no English spoken). The property is kept clean and tidy. I stayed 7 nights in a double room. All rooms are upstairs, where it gets very hot. However, the room's air-con and fan are effective. Clothing hooks and hangers. Shelves. A communal space with fan and open windows  overlooking the street. Motorbike rental VND100k per 24hrs. Snorkelling set rental VND70k per day.

The water pressure is poor, so don't expect a strong shower. Poor sound proofing. Every night my sleep was disturbed several times by noisy, inconsiderate Vietnamese guests, even after politely requesting them to be quiet. Although the room size was good for 1 tidy person like myself, for 2 people who like to scatter their belongings everywhere it may be frustrating. This has no impact on my assessment of the accommodation, but the motorbikes (I rented 2) had rear brakes that were essentially non-functional...potentially very dangerous if you need to apply brakes urgently because you will be relying on the front brake.

Quiet and hearty stay. The rooms are simple but have everything what one could need.

Mattresses could be improved considering the nightly price.

Really lovely guesthouse with the friendliest staff. Nice room with Aircon, everything you need. It's a very central location with lots of really nice places to eat nearby. I booked 5 nights and stayed an extra one. I've never been more sad to leave a place. They also sell Vietnamese wine which I could not recommend more. So so tasty. You can also hire scooters for 100k per day which is an extremely reasonable price. I would definitely come back to Con Dao and stay here again. Many thanks to the lovely owners of the guesthouse

Absolutely nothing

Very comfortable room, with air conditioning and fan, everything very clean and well arranged. The owner is attentive and everything is very good.

i was there in low season in the beginning of Dezember what was good because the demand for rooms was very low and so the price for the room very ok the comunication with the place via the booking app was ok ... i do not know if they use a translation tool or another person does the communication for them ... because the two people that where there do not really speak english at least ... but the communication via booking app was more then ok to organice the room and also to extend the room one more night

when i arrived the place --- i entered two of the rooms for rent there ... in both rooms i smelled the sewage system in the room but first did not know where the smell comes from i added two pictures concerning to this one picture is from the toilet room where you can see that the pipe under the wash bassin goes nearly straight down to the wall hole where it is connected to it can be seen that this flexible pipe goes down straight without any P-Trap inbetween ... and exactly that ist the problem why you smell the sewage system there and in the room a bend in the p-trap collects water in the curve, creating a 1-½-inch to 2-inch water seal at the weir, preventing sewer gasses and odor from entering the home so i suggest to the owner to install a P-Trap under the bassin correctly as then the proplem with smell in the room from the sewage system is solved ... very simple at least and nearly zero VND solution
