Er war sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit, hat uns auch ein größeres Zimmer gegeben und täglich Frühstück gebracht. Preis Leistung ist Gut. Er besorgte uns auch einen Roller damit wir die Stadt besser erkunden konnten.

Der Pool ist unserer Meinung schon länger nicht mehr in Betrieb gewesen, hatten uns nämlich auf eine Abkühlung gefreut. Leider hatten wir kein Waschbecken im Bad (Anschluss wäre vorhanden gewesen) Und der Druck für dusche bzw waschen war nur ausreichend. Leider ware das Bett und die möbel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, eventuell gehören diese ausgetauscht bzw mal überholt.

Accommodation is exceptional. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, sheets and blankets are clean and comfortable, and the water is hot. What really stands out is how Gatot and Mr. Sigid runs this place. They go beyond to make this not just a place to stay, but a place that is memorable. They both are very attentive and caring. When you first arrive, Gatot may ask, “What is your problem?” At first, this sounded like awkward English to me, but it’s simply his way of asking how he can help with your plan. Don’t hesitate to tell him what you need. He will do that and more! For instance, he helped me improve my itinerary by suggesting places that were less touristy and more local. He even went out of his way to drive me to different places, including some that were quite far away. He never asked for extra money. He was also understanding of my chronic pain and the fact that I needed some slower days to rest. Him and Mr Sigid learned to recognize my pain patterns. They both supported me with my pain and helped me plan my days accordingly. Mr Sigid even stayed with me in hospital. Mr Sigid also has a very soothing voice and would frequently sing prayer for my well-being. Together they both would help me find tradtional healing remedies (he called different practitioners to the hotel, made special food and teas to help with my healing et cetera...). Special shout out to Mr Sigid here, he really helped me and comforted me when I was struggling with chronic pain. Mr Sigid's kindness meant a lot to me and really helped me. Moreover, every morning, breakfast (also for free) was prepared according to my dietary needs (vegetarian which can be hard in Indonesia). I was also provided free tea and drinks. Mr Gatot even learned how to prepare some foods I liked so he could make them for me. Overall, they will both go above and beyond to take care of all your needs.

This is a continuation of the first half of the review as it was too long: Overall, they do not treat their guests as just guests but as family (you will leave with lifelong friends!) I also received two free room upgrades during my stay. Overall, for a solo traveller, this is an amazing place to stay. I was also a solo traveller and a bit lost with my pain and on what to do but Gatot and Mr Sigid went out of their way to make sure I was fed, make a plan with me, pray for me, and all that was in their power to make sure I was well. Gatot and Mr Sigid will memorize your needs and make sure they are met, improve your itinerary, introduce you to locals and more (a really great way to experience Indonesian culture and food you may otherwise not be able to)! Also I really enjoyed all the people I met in the hostel and how Gatot creates an environment where he encourages everyone to talk to one another. It is a beautiful little community. I enjoyed all the conversations we had. Mr Sigid is a bit quieter and more reserved but you should really try and get to know him, his kindness has truly changed me and my life. I do not have enough characters left in this review and I do not think I could anyways write completely how Mr Sigid changed my life. Thank you so much! ❤️ A few small negatives, however, is that first you need to be firm with your boundaries. Gatot can sometimes be a bit pushy, because he wants to help! But don't worry Gatot is really understanding and will make sure you are comfortable. At times the Wi-Fi connectivity was weak. Overall these are minor issues that can be easily remedied by talking to Gatot to Mr. Sigid. :)

Очень хороший хозяин! Устранял всё проблемы и недочёты. Бесплатно угощал завтраком и напитками. Бесконечный куллер с горячей/холодной водой. Байки в аренду, у человека много связей, всё найдёт подскажет и посоветует. Отель очень своеобразный, авторский я бы сказал, на группу молодых и активных идеальный вариант! Цена/качество. Рекомендую 10/10!
