Casa de Taft

The location was blissfully quiet but difficult to get to with all the narrow streets and not knowing the area. The bed was comfortable but the pillows very hard.. We traveled from a hot desert area to one that was 59 damp degrees and were cold. When we asked about heat, Randy quickly turned it on (it is controlled in the main house) and came back to tell us where to find a space heater. We had privacy, no noisy neighbors, just a nice place to rest and sleep, which was what we sought.

The door to the room was hard to open or close, but the damp weather could certainly been a factor. More than one washcloth would have been appreciated as there were two guests.

Located in a quiet residential area, easy access to local businesses and freeways. Teresa, the host, came out to greet me when I arrived and ensured a smooth access, much nicer than being in a hotel. I was only there for one night and would definitely stay here again. The room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities covered microwave, coffee maker and a mini fridge. A very pleasant stay.

it was a quiet location no traffic noise, also the host was very attentive since I booked the place they kept giving me instructions, the bed was comfortable, the sheets and towels very clean.

There was a strong smell , something like natural gas or similar, I kept the exhaust fan on to get rid of the smell but it didn’t work , also the tile floors were sticky.

easy access

Super clean and cozy! Really appreciated the keurig and there were plenty of shower and restroom needs right at hand. Pillows were also fantastic!! Not something we see often.

Only minor issue was confusion about the check in and check out process. Would have appreciated an email day of confirming we were expected and where to park/exact location of the room, and any instructions on how we can ensure an easy, efficient check out for the hosts.
