Tarifa Watersports Residence

Location was great, close to beach and the main town. There is a rental place nearby to rent a bike/scooter/bicycle. Room was clean, spacious and nice. It was nice meeting others who stayed in this residence. Had a great chat with them.

Except for no water in the residence for the first few hours upon arrival, all is good

I stayed at a lot of hostels around Europe, but this was the worst one I experienced. The hostel is an transformed house for the use of what they call an hostel. There was no staff at all and I arrived in a dark living room after receiving the code for opening the door. I booked a bed, which is located in a dusty cellar with no locks at all. The room was dirty and there is no airconditioning at all only a view windows. Everyone with the code of the front door could enter the dorm. I booked two nights, but after one night I ran away to one of the hotels because I needed some extra sleep.

super comfortable bed, beautiful view from the roof top, could be family atmosphere (depend the guests I guess..), the location is ok

the doors really hard to open. from outside to get in the place and for the room itself also. you need to fight them… it’s strange.. also I didn’t know witch room I have. if you are booking here on Booking.com you don’t get your room name. and usually you’re not see the host at all so it’s a bit wired.. it’s like self check in.. he was arrived so he let me know but when you get in the place it’s a bit mysterious in the start haha

Close to the beach and 15 minutes walk to the old town. Beautiful new house, really nice decoration, great terrace with sea views, comfortable room. My room had views to the sea as well. Big bathroom and kitchen, always spotless. Communication with person in charge is GREAT, always helpful and available. Thank you, I will recommend and probably come back!

The only thing I missed in my entire stay is soap in the bathroom, some gel and shampoo.

The owner was abroad and left the hostel unattended for weeks, with random people coming and going. This created an unsafe environment for solo female travellers. Complaining resulted in abuse from the owner, who has no customer service or personal skills whatsoever.

Everything is perfect here,even the weather😉
