loved the fact that it could accommodate our entire family of 13 people, the rooms were a good size and the beds comfortable. the hospitality was great. we received some extras not expected, 2L milk, Omma rusks, tea, on arrival and the fact that we could check in early. we also didn't pay for our two unfortunate breakages, maybe its included in the price :). loved the fact that we could visit Ashton and Robertson in close proximity.

I didn't like that one bedroom had no ablution facilities, it meant that they had to disturb someone in the other rooms. I did like the fact that there is no communal toilet downstairs only a urinal which could be converted into a toilet. There were two panes broken upstairs which I think could have been fixed, so in that sense the house lacked a general maintenance person to fix things...next time I am up there I could do the maintenance :).

Very tastefully decorated and comfortable with lots of space. Friendly service and staff. Very well priced. Rooms spacious and comfy.

Was only there an evening so didn't have a lot of opportunity to enjoy the amenities so no negatives.

Beds are very firm, so are the pillows. I would next time bring my own pillows and maybe ask for a Plush Top layer on the beds or bring my own.
