If you want to climb the hill or enjoy the park, it's a great location. Communication was good and they're friendly. It's one of the cheapest places available to stay. Including a range of soaps and shampoo is a nice touch. The view from the terrace of the hill is very nice.

The rooms facing the street are noisy as it is a trunk through road with heavy vehicles very frequent. It would be quite easy to add a bedside light & power point (if not an extension cable). Most people value that. The cleaning fee is 25% of the cost. I know you can see it when you review, but when you're tired & looking for the cheapest available, I feel that pricing this way makes you feel disappointed.

In walking distance from Alameda and center with many restaurants around and interesting places. Kitchen at disposal. Large shower. Private.

The equipment and furniture is a bit dated. Quite noisy in the morning.

Nice location near the beautiful hill, super friendly staff, great value

facilities were not super clean, some smells coming from the bathroom and the fan was quite loud, amenities were very spare.

Everything was great, but especially the location! A nice, clean room with a comfortable bed, extremely reliable WiFi and very hot water. The building is quiet and secure. Vick and Jaime were very hospitable and responsive hosts. But the location, wow - one block from the entrance to Cerro del Borrego, with beautiful views right outside your window; just a few blocks from the lovely alameda, and a short walk from downtown; plus delicious antojitos just across the street.

Other reviewers aren't wrong - the shower drain does have some funky smells. Just keep the bathroom door closed and it's okay. Honestly, it's a small price to pay for staying at such an amazing place.

The host communicated well, very friendly and helpful, good lacation for discovering this beautiful city, I will be back, thank you for your hospitality
