Wayne is an excellent host, super nice, very accommodating, always gives great advice and his breakfast is superb. The room is huge with million dollars views. His gardens are beautiful. The super king bed is very comfortable. The location is also great.

If you ever visit Penguin, you have to check out this homestay on Booking.com or Airbnb! No wonder it’s rated 9.5/10 — Wayne is honestly one of the best hosts I’ve ever met. He’s so caring, kind, and such a true gentleman! The first thing he said when I arrived was, “Have you had dinner? Would you like some chicken and salad?” 🥹 There’s also Sally, a lovely Taiwanese girl who’s been living there long-term, and together they make the place feel so warm and welcoming. Plus, Brandy and Bondie — their adorable dogs — are the friendliest little greeters ever! We spent the night chatting, which hardly ever happens when I travel. Breakfast is included too, and Wayne even asks what time you’d like it ready so he can wake up early to prepare it (even though he’s not an early bird at all 😂). The plate might look small in the photo, but trust me, it’s as big as my face! Honestly, this has been the most wholesome work trip ever — 100000% recommend!!! And Penguin itself is such a lovely little spot 🥹🥹
