Edaala Comfort - Cottage Rooms

Great little bed and breakfast with a beautiful garden. Met most of our needs very well

Upon checkout i was reminded by a staff member that I still needed to pay, we were rushing returning the keys with a taxi waiting so this was not ideal, I had already submitted my card details upon booking. The gym was not very well equipped

Room and Breakfast were good. Room was clean and bed comfortable. It was quite private. Bernard was always responsive.

Approach of Edaala comfort seemed mainly American style, e.g. everything in English, pancakes at breakfast, etc. The transport arranged by the accommodation was expensive compared to the going rate.

Rustgevende accommodatie. Van alle ruimte voorzien. Zeer vriendelijke host met uitgebreid ontbijt. Ideaal voor tussenstop naar volgende safari. Leuk dat het buiten de stad is. En dicht bij een top restaurant cultiva farm Kenya. Met een Uber geraak je er direct op 10 min. Verblijf was top

Breakfast was lovely. My kids said they were the best pancakes they've ever had (like... ever, in their life!) Lots of selection. We didn't know until the second day that we could also order sausages etc. The eggs were made to order as well, just let them know the night before. We were a larger group (8 people in two cottages), and there was plenty of space to spread out. The grounds are beautiful. They were VERY accommodating! We were able to leave several pieces of luggage there while on our safari in the Mara, and they also allowed us a VERY late check-out since our flight didn't leave Nairobi until almost midnight.

We had a little trouble with the hot water but I think it may have been user error since it was only some of the people in our group that experienced it. Nothing negative to say really! It was a lovely experience.

Comfortable beds, great breakfast, access to a small kitchen well stocked to make own food, great location in Karen near giraffe center & Sheldrick.

No hot water on the first day (resolved after talking with host), large holes in mosquito nets, and a bit awkward to put in place, would have liked more contact/local advice from hosts, but when we texted for info we got quick answers.
