Room had aircon which was great during summer heat. Isolated location which means nice peace and quiet. Requested a braai and was given one with the proper utensils. Bathroom is quite spacious. Well equipped little kitchen. Dogs on the property are friendly and pose no threat

DSTV was disconnected, no smart functions on TV either. Not that it was a problem really, but a couple of minutes of dirt road driving is required to get to the property, ensure your vehicle is not lowered.

We were given good directions to the place by the owner Fabienne before arriving which was handy as the place is in a lovely quiet spot away from the main road. Fabienne and the housekeeper Rachel are absolutely lovely, we had a great time relaxing in the garden which she has turned from a vineyard into a beautiful botanical garden, we spotted loads of exotic birds and butterflies! The pool was lovely and views towards the mountains were amazing. The dogs (especially Sebby!) were lovely but if you’re not a dog person it’s fine, you have your own private area with doggy gate! We really wished we’d stayed longer and were sad to leave.

absolutely blooming brilliant. We can’t wait to come back again hopefully next year with our daughter 👍Fabienne is lovely ,nothing too much trouble , and housekeeper Rachel is a little diamond and pocket rocket .

Rural setting, yet close to all main routes and surrounding towns (Somerset West and Stellenbosch), beautiful views, quiet and peaceful.
