Catrina & Diego

Me encantó . Catrina & Diego es un hotelito con mucho encanto, muy acogedor y familiar . La zona de la piscina es increíble. Jossy y Juan Carlos son muy amables y simpáticos , siempre dispuestos a ayudar en todo . La habitación enorme y muy cómoda . Está muy cerca del centro de la ciudad , puedes ir caminando a todos lados. Sin duda repetiría . Lo recomiendo al 100%.

La ubicación es conveniente, aunque de noche no me pareció tan segura. La casa es muy bonita, pero le falta limpieza.

El trato la primera noche fue muy bueno, decidí hospedarme aquí porque en los servicios venía que daban factura y la ubicación era céntrica, pero al solicitar la factura la actitud cambió por completo. Después de una semana de solicitar la factura vía mensaje y llamadas, nos la dieron, pero querían que pagáramos por ella cuando eso es ilegal, en nuestra reservación estamos pagando el IVA. La limpieza de la habitación puede mejorar mucho, entraron a hacer mi servicio, no sabía que sucedería y dejaron la ventana abierta y el mosquitero estaba roto, se metieron varios mosquitos y pasé una noche terrible cuando nunca autoricé que alguien entrara a mi habitación. El internet es malísimo, muy lento y prácticamente inexistente, las toallas del baño tiesas y nunca me explicaron cómo usar la regadera (spoiler: había tres llaves, no dos como normalmente es). La dinámica de estar agachándose para abrir y cerrar igual es cansada y sobre todo no apta para personas mayores y con problemas lumbares, tampoco se ofrece agua de cortesía. No volvería a este lugar y no lo recomiendo para nada si vienes de trabajo.

Nice people and the place breathes history

The couple that runs the place are very kind and hospitable. They made us feel at home and I would definitely recommend this place to others. The room and pool were very clean. Just as a side note, you do have to lock up the main door before leaving and after entering. I'd recommend messaging to notify them when you initially arrive. We had a lovely time here and will definitely return if given the opportunity. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Few issues with the room on the first night but these were all sorted for the remaining nights and happy with the room from them. There is a slight Fawlty Towers vibe to the place

Location was central. Big building with beautiful floors made of pasta tiles, very traditional in that style of house in Merida.

We stayed one night as we had an event nearby, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The bed linen was dirty (crumbs, hair, and a bad smell), and we had to cover the pillows with our clothes. Towels were not provided despite several requests via WhatsApp, SMS, and the Booking.com platform, and we only received them the next morning after asking in person. The bathroom was also unclean, with hair on the floor and in the shower. Access to the property was inconvenient, with a low lock that had to be used each time we went out. The owners’ room is right next to the entrance, and we felt uncomfortable being questioned every time we returned. There was also cat noise during the night, which disturbed our rest.

La habitación es bonita. Está bien ubicado.

El aire acondicionado no enfriaba suficiente, una de las toallas estaba Sucia. La atención del personal no fue muy satisfactoria. Nos dieron llave de la entrada y aunque nos vieron llegar no nos abrieron, esperaron que nos agacharamos a abrir la cerradura del piso, lo cual se puede hacer sin problema pero no es algo que esperes de un hotel. Para subir al cuarto son varias escaleras y el señor no nos ayudó a subir maletas por más que eramos 2 mujeres y mi acompañante traía rodillera.
