Overvoll Farm

Ein schönes Anwesen mit einer sehr netten Gastgeberin. Das Frühstück war frisch, reichhaltig, sehr lecker und es wurden Produkte aus dem eigenen Garten verwandt.

We stayed two nights at Overvoll Farm to explore the area of the Geiranger fjord. Upon arrival we were immediately charmed by the looks of the guesthouse and its interior. A perfect combination of old style tradition combined with modern comfort. Our host Hege Kristin made us feel very welcome. We had breakfast twice and one evening dinner. Both breakfast and dinner were great! An large variety of products to choose from, and many were home made. I tried some (for me) unusual combinations, and everything was very tasteful. Dinner was great too with local hunted deer stew and home grown vegetables. In between we also had some great conversations with Hege Kristin. Our host didn't make us feel like welcome guest, but she spoiled us like royalty.

Nothing. We were a bit worried in advance about the 2 shared bathrooms, but everyting turned out fine.

Incredible host that is also a very skillful and creative chef. Be sure to include breakfast and dinner during your stay! The setup of the farm is perfect to meet and connect with fellow travelers who are exploring this beautiful part of Norway.

A beautiful traditional farmhouse located in a stunning setting. Had a lovely welcome by the wonderful host, loved seeing the goats. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, much from the garden and so tasty, the surrounding fjords took your breath away, so much to see and good hiking. We stayed 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer!

Nothing it was perfect

A special experience, thanks to the host who created unforgettable memories for us. Impeccable cleanliness, excellent menu prepared mostly from ingredients that were picked from the own farm, so it can't be fresher than that. The bed was very comfortable, special nature. Kristin, thank you for everything, don't change anything you do. Much success in the years to come 👍👍👍🤗

Authentic Norwegian farmhouse, very old, small, & quaint, with traditional design & decor preserved. Felt like being at a much-loved grandmother’s home.

We had a magical two days at Overvall Farm. Kristin is an amazing host with such attention to detail in creating a thoughtful experience for her guests. The inn is beautiful, rustic, cozy and quite comfortable. However the food is the real star. Wholesome meals that are fresh and unique, striking a balance that might be described as innovative comfort food. Lots of fresh vegetables and a number of sides to accompany a main protein for dinners. Breakfasts are ample and varied. All in all simply delicious and satisfying! Kristin offers her guests not only comfort and hospitality but a glimpse of a lifestyle that we should all aspire to, but her approach is pure, not dogmatic or off-putting.

We loved our host, who was such a pleasure to talk with. The breakfast was delicious and varied with many personal touches. The beds were comfortable, and you could feel right at home in the charming Farm House. We also enjoyed walking the beautiful and expansive grounds.
