Kawi Homestay Sidemen

Nice pleasant host. Nice breakfast. You can make arrangement with them if you are going hiking, sight seeing, motor rental, etc. Only 3 rooms available, so book earlier.

It was lovely to stay in a family run homestay. The room was very comfortable and it was only a 5 -10 minute walk to a range of restaurants. It was easy to walk around the beautiful Sidemen area on foot.

The road was noisy at night and the local dogs were quite vociferous!

Great location, heaps of nice restaurants in walking distance. Fantastic little town with even more fantastic people. Very friendly staff, nice breakfast. Lovely and comfortable room.

Bathroom was very smelly, clocked shower drain, however we told owner and he said he will be working on a solution for the future. Dog kept parking during the night, not sure if he was locked in or why he always did. Might have been a bit worse since we had the back room, which was in a way really cool because it had this fabulous wood carved door, which we loved, however meant close to zero soundproofing.

Great location, lovely breakfast, spacious room and very very comfortable bed with smart tv! Lovely view of rice fields from the balcony too

Horrible smell from the bathroom and the toilet wasn’t connected to the floor properly.

The bedroom was nice and a big bed. The breakfast was simple but good. The staff was friendly and helpful!

What could I have liked? The owner didn't open the door for us. Didn't reply to my messages nor phone calls either.

The owner didn't open the door so we never stayed there. I don't like giving 1 star reviews to places I haven't been to but I'm afraid I have to in this case

Sideman is a lovely special place. Mount Agung in the background is spectacular. The homestay were very helpful in arranging transport and appointments.
