Supervriendelijke eigenaar, zeer behulpzaam met informatie over de trein. Fijne locatie, 10 minuutjes lopen van het strand

Ik had een beetje pech met de timing: er was tijdens mijn verblijf van 1 nacht precies een feest bij de hindoetempel om te hoek. Neem voor de zekerheid oordoppen mee, maar dat geldt natuurlijk voor heel India ;).

Beliggenheden var perfekt i forhold til at komme til den centrale strand, restauranter og butikker. Men ligger samtidig tilbagetrukket fra hovedgaden. Stedet var nyt og rent, stort værelse, virkelig gode senge og med lille altan. Værten var tilgængelig og hjælpsom.

First of all Sudheer, the Manager, thank you so much for all your support and ideas. The accommodation has a nice feel about it. Very solid building, lovely marble flooring, balcony from our room facing the front was fine as we had the green trees right in front of us so some nature. Sudheer and the cleaner (Chardonee?) were happy to do small bags of washing for free and returned them all dry and cleaned. The kitchen was a very useful facility especially for breakfast and lunches when you don't want to eat out all the time! The free filtered water in the kitchen was a nice touch! Would we stay again, yes we certainly would, the pros outweighed the cons!

There is no large garden, just the forecourt and some trees as you enter the property, but nowhere to sit out in. Despite some reviewers saying it's a in a quiet corner of Varkala off the main stretch, you can still here a lot of local traffic especially since the road adjacent to the property is the main connection to the Cliff Beach area. Having said this, the traffic dies right down by 11 at night and so sleep was not interrupted. The common areas (dining table area/corridors) need to have the fans on all the time as they get extremely humid and at first I noticed the staff kept turning them off until I pointed out they literally cost about 20 pence to leave them on all day! The kitchen has very few utensils, no wooden spoon or ladles for stirring, best bring your own as a back up which we did :) The kitchen offered some level of social connection with other travelers but then some days you wouldn't see anyone so it felt a bit 'deadsville' so if you want a social hub, this is probably not the place! Would we stay again, yes we certainly would, the pros outweighed the cons!

The host was very kind and accommodating..and it was very safe for women

Die Lage des Hauses ist für uns super.Die großzügige Auffahrt zum Haus ,Parkgelegenheiten und nicht direkt an der Stasse. Der Hausherr ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Das Meer ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.und wenn man shoppen möchte ,gibt es am Nordcliff genug Möglichkeiten. In der Nähe gibt es einen Devitempel mit Aktivitäten . Im "Baker&Mill" gibt es leckeres Sauerteigbrot zu kaufen,leckere Croissants und Cappuccino. Im Restaurant" Da Inda" haben wir wunderbare Pizza und Pasta gegessen. Im "Sawaa " on the cliff Restaurant gab es herrliches Essen aus Kerala.

Der Eigentümer war sehr nett, hat mich mit seinem Scooter zum ATM gefahren und ich durfte um 5 Uhr Nachts Einchecken obwohl ich erst für den nächsten Tag gebucht habe. Das war fantastisch.

Very clean and quiet place. The location is also very convenient. Highly recommended!
