"Lovely, welcoming homestay"

Lovely homestay with the friendliest couple of owners, Peter and Mariam (and their two daughters), who instantly make you feel like part of the family. Also, delicious food every day from Mariam! Five or ten minutes walk to a very quiet beach or ten minutes bus or tuk-tuk to beach bars at Marari. The town of Alleppey for the backwaters is easily reachable too.

Mr. JIJI arranged shikara boat and auto for us..all things gud but due to bad weather I didn't enjoyed in Alleppey

It was Sunday when I reached there. So no market is open...

"Two Aussie Mums revisiting India"

Jiji and Mariamma were such wonderful hosts. They made us feel so welcome and helped us with travel plans and tours. Our breakfast and dinner 'feasts' were exceptional. I would recommend this homestay to those wanting to visit Alleppey, but without having to stay in the busyness of the city centre.

That we had to move on in our travels. It is the type of homestay that you can stay for a while and absorb yourself into the local community.
