Battonya House

Cozy, secure,

The property has everything you need and expect. We was more then happy with what we found. Clean, nice, tidy and cozy. Kids enjoyed the outdoors and indoors. Loads of space big rooms and bathroom, high speed broadband, flat tv in every room. Thanks to you Alex and your father Voinea was very nice person to have a chat. We will be back for sure and definitely not for one night. Thanks

Apart of the car park outside of the property with is cctv monitoring 24h everything was more then we expect.

W stayed here one night, 3 people in two matrimonial rooms. The owner, Alex, was extremely kind, gentle and available for any kind of problem we encountered. External parking but as far as I understand it is monitored 24/7 by video camera. Everything is new, impeccably clean, the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and TV, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom very very clean, spacious and with a bathtub and also hair dryer. We noticed when leaving that there is a very large and beautiful courtyard, but unfortunately leaving very early we could not enjoy it. The part of the house where we stayed has 4 rooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen equipped with everything you need if you want to cook, including a dishwasher and a very large living room with sofas for relaxing and, last but not least, a large refrigerator where food or drinks can be stored in case you need it. Battonya House is located in the center of Battonya, a few kilometers from Turnu custom (usually very free custom) and about 25 kilometers from Arad. We chose Battonya House to avoid having to deal with customs on the day of our departure for Italy. We highly recommend and will definitely return whenever we get the chance. Very affordable price!

It`s a really nice territory for short stay. It`s The house is very big. It`s also suitable for a large company with or without children. On the border post which is near the property we spent only 5 minutes.

Some small roads in fields are really awful. If possible chose a big ones.

Very nice host, clean house with all that you need for a stay, no matter if you are solo, couple or family with kids, the house covers quite everything. Excellent stop for riders who are travelling from or to Romania.

The bed was super comfortable and it was a great night sleep after a long day. The room was well equipped, clean with an abundance of towels. The bathroom was also very clean, spacious and had a bath!! The setting is beautiful, the garden is a great way to relax after long days of travelling. My kids loved spotting things in the pond, playing on the trampoline and on the playset. We didn't meet Alex personally, but they were super helpful with clear instructions given over WhatsApp. It felt safe leaving a clearly full car of stuff in the allocated parking area. We would love to return to Romania / Hungary and will definitely stay here again.

As mentioned in other reviews, the metal staircase was a little challenging due to my need to use the handrail and it being very hot. The fridge is on a different level to the kitchen (useful to send the kids for stuff!). There is a single stovetop to use in the kitchen , which we got by on and worked well, but I had the impression from photos there was a multiple stovetop / induction plate or something similar.
