Sweet Holiday Home by the Golf Course

The shared bathroom door didn't close properly which should ideally be fixed asap.

It is my regular spot to stay when visiting Canberra solo for work. Comfortable, clean and private space with everything i need.

Very clean room and mostly quiet. Queen bed with bathroom and shower next door. Coffee, tea, milk in fridge, microwave outside the bedroom in the passageway. Beautiful scenery near walkway around the lake. Golf course if that's your thing. Parking space. Safe. Private and very secure key arrangement.

Noise from doors closing and people walking around upstairs but it wasn't too bad. Not sure what do with used coffee cups. No sink available to rinse plates etc. but a tea towel was provided. Should ensure the instant coffee is fresh. Room felt a bit confined with such a big bed in it. Maybe a single bed would be better considering the sign says only one person can stay here. I am a single, small female so this bed size wasn't necessary for me. A bit of rabbit warren of narrow streets with town houses. It was ok but quite challenging to find the address with cars behind mine and no room on the road to allow overtaking.

This was a beautiful, peaceful retreat. Such a well appointed and presented, so homely with great walks around the lake nearby. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. A big thank you to those the hosts for this special spot.

Heater worked and warmed the room quickly. Comfortable bed. Nice comfy chair to sit in. Coffee/tea station right outside the room. Fridge available to use.

The room was very small: but that’s reflected in the price. But not much space to do anything.

No food was supplied other than milk. The location was excellent for meeting our needs.

Maybe a. biscuit or bread in the freezer for toasting with little packs of butter and jam for breakfast. So clean and comfortable. Very tastefully decorated and well appointed laundry.
