The Green Jungle

The green jungle is the really jungle house. Its located by near dambulla temple, Sigiriya around 15_20 minutes. So many nice things you can see around the green jungle. We had a nice village tour its very good experience we had in sri lanka. Specially foods, breakfast, lunch and dinner very tasty. Very good place to relaxing. Freshly staff and good service. Highly recommended this place 👍.

The green jungle is the pleasure of our sri lankan tour. Because its very calm and quiet place to stay. The beautiful green garden around the room. The room is very big with big comfortable two beds. The bathroom is very big also. Specially we looking always about clean place. Actually this is the place where we found clean room in sri lanka. The breakfast simple and very tasty. Dinner and lunch also we had fresh and warm 😋. The food made by owners home kitchen. The location is very easy to visit to sight things Dambulla cave temple, Sigiriya lion rock, Pidurangala rock, Minneriya national Park, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura very easy to travel this all places from the green jungle. The owner arranged us a one day tour by comfortable jeep. It was the amazing day in our sri lankan holiday. It was Pidurangala rock, Minneriya national Park and Ayurweda Spa treatment 👍. The owner (Nuwan) bring us to some his beautiful secret places was very nice. One's a beautiful sun set place near the green jungle. And beautiful lake with bird watching. Thank you Nuwan for caring us and thank you so much for your tasty food. We hope to see you again stay with your hotel once a day.

So nice and spacious room. Big bathroom. Big bed with so comfortable metres. The owner very friendly and helpful. Specially the foods, the breakfast, lunch and dinner yummy yummy yummy. Who cooked the owners wife can cooking what ever you need delicious food. Specially sri lankan kottu is very tasty. Nuwan who is the owner of the hotel he arranged everything what ever you need. He bring us to hotel from Dambulla city by his own tuktuk free of charge. He arranged us very beautiful tour starting from the hotel Pidurangala rock, ayurveda spa and Minneriya national Park was amazing!. Pidurangala is very nice than sigiriya lion rock because from Pidurangala rock we sow the view of lion rock. Ayurveda spa they using 100% natural oil. Also very relaxing. We highly recommend. The national park we sow about more than 50 elephants, different kinds of birds, crocodile. Who drive with us government official driver. Have good experience. We had a best accommodation in our trip is the green jungle. Highly recommended. We can't forget that holiday at green jungle. Thank you so much nuwan for organised for everything. Definitely will come again to sri lanka because of the green jungle.

Nuwan was very Nice, he was very helpful to book the activities during our trip in Dambulla! He also brang us to his secret spot to see the sunset, unfortunately we didn't saw the sun cause of the weather, but we saw a lots of monkey there! Also he brang us in another spot to see a lot of flying bats. He was very kindly, he served us the breakfast for free and the dinner was not really expensive. Thank you so much Nuwan, I wish you the best, and stay in your hotel was really worth it.

Literally everything was amazing. The rooms were massive and clean and super comfy. The owner was amazing and met me at the bus stop and when I left he walked me back there and waited with me. He helped me organise everything and told me loads of information. For the price especially it’s insane how much value you get for it. Thank you so much

Our host, Nuwan, is the kindest person we've ever met during our trip in Sri Lanka - since the beginning, he was always ready to help us even if we were in different places or hotels in the country. He said that when you stay at his home, you're like family for him, and so he'll do all he can to assist you during your journey in Sri Lanka. And that was true! When we stayed at his wonderful home, located on his property surrounded by the greenery (and also in a strategic place to visit Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock), he helped us by arranging a great safari. When we were at home, he was always there to greet us, and also provided us with a couple of extra fans for the rooms. We booked both rooms and they were great - large and comfortable beds equipped with mosquito nets. Breakfast and dinners were delicious, and we also managed to meet Nuwan's family. We wish them all the best for their activities and their future!

This place is lovely, the location is perfect to visit and explore the area. The highlight of this place are the hosts, Nuwan's wife's cooking skills are amazing, the perfect taste of Sri Lanka's food and is all HOMEMADE😍😍 as for Nuwan himself, he has the perfect recommendations for the places and secret spots that only a local can know; if you want to watch sunrise he will take you to his secret place same for sunset. The location is just next to the road but the rooms are quiet and peaceful. The bathroom and the bedroom are very spacious and most importantly clean, there is no AC but no need for it as there is a ceiling fan and if you let the windows open with the curtains closed and you will have fresh air all night long with little to no mozzies (The beds have their own fly net, so definitely no buzzing sound will keep you up) whatever you need or want just tell Nuwan he is always happy to help.

Hi, I was staying 2 nights at the Hotel on my way to kandy as solo traveller. The Hotel is a small family business and very accomodating. Everyone was really really warm and nice, doing their best to make me feel like I am at home :) It's located close to dambulla and you can reach anything in a couple of minutes. The beds are big and comfy and the rooms in general are superclean and very beautiful. There are 2 large size beds in each room so no problem if you bring your kids with you. The property has a decent garden area with a terrace protected by the shades of the palms where you can relax and hang out as well or just for your kids to play around. Breakfast was very good too and you can also tell them at which time you prefer to take it. The owner is a very sweet person and gave me good advice how to spend my day around the sightseeing places and offered transfer services with his own tuk if I needed something from the city and also organized me a driver for my safari/sightseeing tour. If you need help with anything, he will get it done for you quickly. On my last day he brought me to my bus stop and waited till I was inside the bus which was supersweet of him, so to me he was more than a Host but a big brother/family member All in all I was very happy with my stay 😊

The host was very friendly and made our stay unforgettable. The homemade breakfast and dinner were simply delicious. We can highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.
