The Green Jungle

Our host was lovely, really going out of his way to make your stay as good as possible. Lovely yummy breakfast, comfy beds, hot water and wifi all perfect - great value for money! Would come back!

On arrival we were greeted by Nuwan and his wife and immediately made to feel so welcome. The room itself is beautiful and clean. We slept so well. Although there is no a/c there is a fan which does the job well. The breakfast included was brilliant with plenty of fresh fruit! Nuwan took time to help with anything we needed including giving us lots of advice on places to visit, the best routes to get there etc. We are driving our own tuktuk and when we had difficulty starting it in the morning, Nuwan helped to get us on our way. One evening we had the home cooked meal of kottu and it was super tasty. Plenty of food and seconds if we wanted any. Such an amazing first homestay of our trip. Will be recommending to everyone.

Very clean, peaceful and beautiful place. Very spacious room with everything that one needs. The Guesthouse has an amazing garden with squirrels and lightning bugs - it’s magical. Restaurants and shops are nearby. The Family is incredible !!! Such friendly and open people that are ready to help with anything that one need. The hospitality is out of this world. We felt like at home - they took care of us like own family. We are very thankful for everything that they done for us. Small surprises like fresh flowers and lovely breakfast were so so nice ! The host even decorated our tuk tuk - 🌺This family showed us nothing but love - we stayed longer than planned and will be back ! Thank you !🙏

Nuwan went above and beyond during our stay at the Green Jungle guesthouse. His hospitality cannot be faulted, and we really enjoyed our stay with him and his family. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean, and the food was homecooked and delicious!

Nuwan is very friendly and helpful owner.He was caring us. Special thing is room,it's very clean and spacious. Beds are very big and comfortable. Comfortable pillows. Big mosquito nets. Bathroom is very clean. Beautiful garden with many trees. Everywhere is green 🌴🌳🐿️. Breakfast is amazing. Dinner was delicious. Everything is good.

AMAZING. The house is cozy, nice and very clean. Nuam amb his family will host you as one more in the family. They will cook amazing local dishes, they will share best tips and places and they will make you feel better than home. Without a doubt it is one of my favorite places in Sri Lanka!!!!

Everything was perfect, the host help you with anything you could need. The room is big and clean and the surroundings full of plants is beautiful. I would repeat.

Our stay at The Green Jungle in Dambulla was nothing short of fantastic! The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and a lovely terrace where we could relax after a day of exploring. The location is ideal, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and conveniently close to local attractions, making it easy to find anything we needed. The highlight, however, was the incredible hospitality from the host and his family. They were welcoming and went above and beyond in helping us and the host even organized a fun day tour for us. Breakfast was included and made for a great start to the day. I wholeheartedly recommend The Green Jungle to anyone visiting Dambulla. The warmth, convenience, and local experiences made it a stay to remember!

I spent one night here and just loved it! The family are incredibly nice and helpful and try everything to make you feel comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and the room is very clean. This has been the best accommodation in sri lanka so far! I would come back anytime.
