ARBOUR The Homestay

It is very homely and suitable for family stays. The owner is very kind and helpful. the locality is peaceful and the property is clean. Would like to revisit again, if in guwahati. The kitchen is nice and spacious however, the kitchen amenities/utensils could be improved a bit. However, it's not a major problem if you are not staying for long. Most of the food delivery apps know the place pretty well and the deliveries are fairly on time.

Owner Anjan ji has helped us a lot with taxi booking and darshan at Kamakhya. Very well maintained, clean property 👌

I stayed at 'Arbour The Homestay' 5th and 6yh September 2023 with my wife.Firstly I would like to mention about the Great behaviour and support of the caretaker(Owner) Mr. Anjan Saikia. It's a home away from home. Very neat and clean and beautifully decorated interior. My superior room was extra specious. There is no availability of food but they have a very well equipped kitchen and you can prepare your homely food. Although some very good restaurants like Punjabi Chinese , D kav and for the ethenic food lover Akhol and Ujani Namoni etc. I am enjoying the comfort of silence inside the heart of the city during my stay. Famous shopping mall the City Center and Appolo hospital is very near to this Homestay. Sumangal Dutta Jorhat

During my stay there were lots of power cuts in Guwahati.In the home stay the inverter can run and supply the power for maximum 2 hours when two fans are running at a time simultaneously. I was afraid that night if power wouldn't come within two hours!! because that night was exceptionally hot. But power was restored within the time. I request Mr. Anjan, installed an inverter which can cover at least the whole night Apart from this, the Homestay is an amazing one.

Very clean and the host is very friendly and available whenever needed.
