Our stay was at the time of year when central heating needs to be turned on in the evenings - was a bit chilly!

Helen was really helpful and accommodating. The accommodation was very stylish and clean and everything you needed and more! It was so quiet and we all slept really well. Great for plane enthusiasts as near to Broughton - we saw a Beluga at the end of the runway! Maybe a jug would be useful to help fill the kettle.

Plenty of space to spread out, tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Responsive host with any assistance or requests required via messaging via booking.com.

We had the use of an annexe on the side of the family home. It was very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities as well as a couple of snacks. Crockery, cutlery, a fridge and a microwave encouraged you to bring food and eat it in the room for which we were very grateful! Washing up bowl and liquid was available to clean our dishes. No breakfast was offered but we were aware of this before we booked and there were some suggestions for where to get breakfast. Hawarden Estate farm shop was wonderful! Room was spacious and we had a wonderful night's sleep. We didn't see our host in person but she was very helpful with details on how to find the property and what to do when we got there. She also told us she was on hand if we needed her.

A tea towel to dry our dishes would have been a welcome addition - we used a towel from the bathroom. Lovely big kettle but it was difficult to fill from the small bathroom sink - maybe a small jug would be a good idea? A small coffee table would be a good addition for eating etc. but wouldn't be overpowering in the lovely room.
