Hermanus 13 on 2nd Guest Rooms

Cleanliness standards were satisfactory, and appropriate safety measures appeared to be in place; however, the ease with which baboons could access the property through the windows presented a potential safety risk.

I genuinely enjoyed many aspects of the stay; however, there were significant concerns that ultimately led us to leave and stay elsewhere. Stated in advertisement of stay one is not permitted to use the kitchen facilities, despite observing other guests being allowed to do so, which felt inconsistent and concerning. This situation raised concerns about unequal treatment. Additionally, we experienced a lack of privacy, as other guests appeared to closely monitor our movements throughout our stay. These factors made us uncomfortable and were the primary reasons we decided to relocate, despite initially enjoying the accommodation.

Clean and spacious room. Friendly host and convenient location just outside of town. Nice breakfast items available!

Oddly enough bathroom didn’t have a door, not sure why but it was a bit odd considering the rest of the high standard of the property.
