Strongly recommended hostel in the center of town

The place, decorations and style is lovely. It was quite clean and loved the yogi vibe of the place. It is super well located only 5-8 minutes walk to the lake but still calm and quite at night for a good night rest. It also has a great terrace with a panoramic view to the lake. The guy at reception was nice and they have a lovely doggie named Rex. They offer free towel and of course fresh bedding. Didn't get to try the food or the yoga or massages but the offering looks great

Wish I knew earlier that the yoga teacher, who is also the messeuse wasn't there during my stay. If this is one of your reasons for booking, better check if the yoga/massage sessions are available when you go. Also keep in mind no parking spot available and it's a busy area, hard to park, just in case you come by car.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The terrace has a great view of the lake and is perfect for an enjoyable buffet breakfast!

Without having a car, going to other places from Ioannina can be challenging. Bus schedules are for locals no tourists.

I spent one night at the Urban Yoga House Hostel & Retreat. I was warmly welcomed by Alex, the owner. He along with his partner run this yoga center cum hostel. The place is both comfortable and cosy, with predictable decor and ambiance that goes with a Yoga center... :) The kitchen is well equipped and they have a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view over the adjacent mountains. A nice place to stay!
