Eco Haven retreat

The room was well set up with a great view from the large balcony. Great space inside and out with good quality towels and sheets.

The breakfast was poor for the price with only basic foods available. This was very disappointing when compared to other properties in the region.

In a quiet location and nice views from balcony!

Breakfast: was more of a kids brekky (cornflakes, nutri grain and toast). Perhaps muesli, yoghurt, juice could be included since it is adult accommodation. No kitchen, just a buffet style table with everything on it. Nowhere to sit to eat except outside on balcony which is freezing in winter so you need to stand up at top of stairs and eat! No coffee maker as stated, just a jug to boil water and instant coffee! Items not replenished for stays of more than one night. Not serviced (does not state this in booking conditions) so you need to clean up after yourself! There are so many ornaments/decor on shelves in the bathroom that I was concerned I was going to break something. More attention to things like tissues and/or napkins which were not provided would’ve been nice to have whilst having brekky. Bathroom is beautiful but has large window of glass bricks and due to open plan you always have light shining into bedroom at night.

Location was picture perfect, it was peaceful and had an amazing view.

A make shift top to serve as a kitchen with cereal / coffee (instant coffee)

Mark and Margaret were great hosts. Mark welcomed us personally and showed us around. Everything was clean and tidy. We especially loved the views from the bedroom and the wildlife. We saw kangaroos and emus, which made our stay even more special. Margaret is running an Indonesian food truck on the weekend. We had the pleasure to try her food - it was delicious! During our stay we visited the national park, which is roughly a 30mins drive from the property. You can’t get any closer! Cooling off in the pool after a challenging walk was a great end of the day. If you think about booking this place, don’t wait any longer. You won’t regret it!
