We really enjoyed our stay at Ankara and will definitely be going back.

A beautiful location right by the river. Perfect for watching wildlife or relaxing with a book. I loved being shown round the garden and learning about all the trees and herbs and finding out about the family history. I was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed sampling authentic Keralan cuisine at meal times.

Very nice calm and peaceful place at the river. A very quiet neighbourhood in a bustling town. The host family did the best for our pleasant stay - we felt very comfortable - very welcoming place. There is a big garden with many fruit trees. Wonderful dinner and breakfast. They organised us transport - don't hesitate to contact the owner before your stay - they are very helpful. Hope to stay there again.

The attention to detail from the Ansan and team was just wonderful. We felt immediately at home here. Also early check in and breakfast was no problem as this had been communicated beforehand. It was also special to share our stay with guests who regularly stay here, having conversation over delicious dinner and breakfast! We also made sure to have an Ayurvedic massage which did not disappoint! Also Kottayam is close by and definitely worth a visit once you have taken time to wander around the homestay and soak up the atmosphere. We hope to return here soon one day.

Beautiful authentic home, in a great garden on the riverside. Very nice staff and an entertaining host that told us a lot of interesting stories of the house and his family that owns the property for more than 150 years.
