The location of the property….the breathtaking view it offers

There is nothing you will not like. Right from the location to the stay yo the amazing food ….everything is bang on.

We stayed here for 3 nights in October 2022 and found it to be exceptional. I have stayed at quite a few homestays over the years but even then would say Namaha is exceptional. It may be a small place but the care and hospitality of Mr. Balachandran and his wife is unique. The food, be it breakfast / lunch / dinner , is exquisitely cooked and every item has a unique taste. The spacious rooms are very tastefully furnished with excellent view of the mountainside. Would suggest to take the rooms on the first floor for slightly better views though the ground floor ones are also very good. The hosts are genuinely kind and caring people and have got a small staff who are equally polite. I would strongly recommend this place if you are in for a genuine homestay experience. This is not a resort with unnecessary frills but a place to stay and enjoy the culture of a different place. Few points which I would like to mention though I will not consider them as cons. The place is remote and laid back and do not expect much activity over the weekends except unwinding over a good dinner. The food is exceptional but is pure vegetarian. And the place is quite far from the Wayanad safari so do not expect that as an activity (though arguably one can do it for one day if they have time and interest - we did not) Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Balachandran for making our first proper vacation of the year so enjoyable. We have had a difficult year due to various commitments and could hardly make time to relax. This trip really helped in that.
