"Great place for a Bromo tour with very friendly management."

The village was incredibly friendly even if the competing mosques were a little too enthusiastic with their call to prayer starting at 4am and continuing throughout the day. Sometimes it was beautiful at others irritating and tuneless. But we were visiting Java so hey - and we were up so early it hardly mattered. Harry, the manager, was brilliant. He was so helpful and made us free tea and coffee. He also gave us a great Bromo tour at a really good price. He also sings very well if you ask him and is a truly nice guy

The tuneless child whose voice broke with the dawn each morning!!!

There is a pantry that you can make your own coffee or take water though it is not that clean. View is nice but very cold.

Stayed there for 2 nights without hot shower. Informed the hotel, staff checked but the hot water only run a while.

good stop on the way to Bromo if you come by motorcycle from Malang. The facilities are simple but clean and comfortable
