The Mabelle

A beautiful house that was exceptionally clean and well set out close to the centre, and the Pioneer Woman Mercantile.

The only minus thing was the room was not en-suite, but there was a single bathroom right next door, which for a B&B is great.

James was very helpful and offered great ideas to do in the area.

Host was super nice. Room was very clean. Loved the decor.

The Mabelle is a lovely restored historic home.

It was the most amazing property! I love the history of the home. The detail and character of the establishment was amazing and I loved how comfortable I felt and just all the special touches and all the furniture and everything was just so perfect because it truly was a part of the original home and I just loved it!

There truly wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about it so there’s nothing that I could say that I didn’t like we walked in…James showed us all the details about the house and things that we might want… it was cozy. I didn’t feel at all like there wasn’t anything that I didn’t have. It was perfect.

The bed was ultra comfortable, and the temperature iof the room was just right. The host (James) told us to make ourselves at home and help ourselves to bottled water. We enjoyed the many wall clocks and James was more than happy to explain the workings and types of clocks. And the wife repeatedly commented on how clean the room was-and that is extremely important with hotels cutting their housekeeping services.

Everything was perfect from our entry to our exiting. We absolutely cannot think of anything "unlikeable." Only unlikeable thing is that we couldn't have remained in Pawhuska and seen more of the history such as the Ben Johnson Museum but we couldn't extend our reservations at The Mabelle.

Would have liked a little more coffee in our room. Other than that, things were great!
