Lovely place with lovely people, very helpful and welcoming. You can order food that is prepared onsite. We did the Mount Batur hike with their nephew who's a guide for a good price. I totally recommend this place !

The staff/family were amazing, very great at helping to organise activities at a very reasonable price. Good food provided at a great price (we only ate here during our 3 night stay). The upgraded rooms were very nice to stay in with a decent view and in a relaxing area.

The initial rooms we got did not live up to our expectations, however the staff were amazing in helping us upgrade. Hot water was inconsistent, but manageable.

The daughter of the host helped with organising a taxi for a day. Because of changes in my travel plans it was possible to leave one night earlier and the host refunded me the full payment for the night as a gesture of goodwill.

The room had mould in the ceiling, was way smaller than expected from the pictures and was quite dark (not a lot of daylight). Also there was no fly screen in the upper open ventilation slots from the room, although there were a lot of flies and insects, which were able to enter the room unhindered (despite the door being closed). Additionally the location of the homestay was really bad if you don't have a scooter. There were also no local warungs near the homestay.

When you arrive in Kintamani for the first time - it's not very inviting. The area is meh. But don't worry, this place is nice. We stayed in the Villa and it was quite new and everything was clean, the bed is comfy, hot shower. We got greeted with coffee and tea. They serve tasty breakfast and cook few simple dishes. Everything was nice. The owner drove us to the starting point of the sunrise trek in the morning and drove us back, which was really helpful and we were very grateful for that. Would stay again.

As mentioned, the area is not really nice. But so is Kintamani (in my opinion). We only stayed one night for the sunrise tour to Mt. Batur. So it doesn't really matter.
