Nunu's Guesthouse

Nuna was, extremely welcoming in to her home. No English but lovely lady. I got a cup of tea and some scones on arrival

Quite basic but it had all I needed

You feel like you're staying with your grandma in the countryside. There are no luxuries, but that's not the point.

A beautiful small guesthouse in a private home in Tskaltubo. I would say the location is perfect for the Spring Nr.6 and if you are interested in the old Sanatorium architecture. It is a gentle 10-15 minute walk to Spring No.6 (the best spa in Tskaltubo), maybe 15 minutes to the Tskaltubo Plaza with restaurants and 20 minutes to the market. The area is quiet, almost rural and really beautiful with large gardens - for me, it was the best area to stay in Tskaltubo. The guesthouse has a decent number of rooms managed by Nuno and her daughter. They are simple but very comfortable, with a shared bathroom. I had a very comfortable bed, and I slept beautifully with the clean fresh air every night. There is all you might need at the house, really, and a beautiful garden when the weather is good WiFi was reliable. If you request you can get breakfast for an additional small fee - there was plenty of food, always. I recommend you try it! Their marmelade and home-cooked Georgian food was really wonderful. Nuno and her daughter are really welcoming. They will help you with any questions, be it spa, where to eat, transport... they speak Russian and Georgian. Communication was never a problem, though. There is a small very friendly dog at the property. There is a kitchen for guests as well, with a fridge, a full cooker and anything you might need - but Tskaltubo's restaurants and cafes are really good (especially Imeretian Equisse). My only slight issue was hot water, but since I had a thermal bath every day and was happy to wash my hair with cold water, it was not a problem. I was too lazy to ask, it didn't bother me. Anyway... I have nothing but praise for this wonderful guesthouse, and when I visit Tskaltubo again, I shall return.

The guesthouse belongs to an extremely hospitable elderly woman. She offered me tea and snacks upon arrival and had good suggestions for sightseeing. Reliable free wifi. Clean bathroom. Everything perfect! Highly recommended.

Guest house has a nice garden. The rooms are tidy and clean. People friendly.

The table was a bit sticky. There is a kitchen but you can't cook. Cold water in shower.

I was welcomed warmly in Nunu's guesthouse and I spent two relaxing days there. It's in a calm area of Tskaltubo but within walking distance to a small shop, restaurants and the bazaar/marshrutka stop and of course to some very interesting abandoned sanatoriums. I especially liked the beautiful garden with fruit trees. My room was spacious and had a lovely view to the garden. The people around and the other guests were very friendly and Marina (who took care of me in the guest house) gave me some delicious fruit from the garden and provided helpful information about public transportation/marshrutkas (she speaks Georgian and Russian). The price-performance ratio in this guesthouse is brilliant. I'd come again!

The bathroom was really not so clean. On my way to my room I had to cross a room that was very dusty, but I personally did not mind much. Unfortunately the stove in the kitchen did not work, only the water kettle, but maybe they'll fix this problem.
