The house and garden itself were very cute and well maintained. Also the breakfast was very good, and the staff is kind

The location is a bit further out of town. Also the English of the staff was not so good The toilet could not be locked even though is was to share with other people

We LOVED our stay at Tropical Paradiso! Before we arrived we were several days in long transit, so this little spot provided us the perfect rest space. We even extended our stay because we were so comfortable and were not ready to leave (it's a quiet little green spot in the city). While we were there we were able to do our laundry, rent a scooter to Alas Purwo National Park, visit the local beach, and make the hike to Ijen crater. Breakfast was perfect...the setting adorable...everything was exactly what we needed. Thank you very much for the hospitality! We highly recommend this sweet little spot on the map. :)

Just FYI: The closest beach (black sand) within walking distance (could be absolutely adorable with a great view of Bali and a nice restaurant area, but unfortunately the beach is not clean (there is a LOT of trash). :( We didn't feel very comfortable to swim or lounge for very long there, but we did go for a nice walk, met some locals, and had a nice meal by the water, regardless.

Very tastefully decorated, warm, cozy and very clean and for almost a week I spent there I enjoyed delicious breakfast every morning and rides around stunning nature around Banyuwangi provided by my two hosts. I highly recommend it.
