Darjeeling BnB

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cozy homestay. For me & my husband, it was just what we needed. The staff are really friendly & always happy to help in any way they can. They made our stay very comfortable. Since it was extremely cold, the bed was heated & they also provided us with an extra heater(extra small charge) as we required it. The food was excellent! We & dinner & breakfast. The aloo paratha for breakfast is the best I've had in my life & the dinner was so delicious after a tiring day roaming around. The balcony is amazing ♥️♥️♥️ Overall our stay was wonderful & comfortable. We loved the hospitality of this homestay. It was like home. P.s. there were a few friendly kitties who came to say hi to us. We had a lovely time with them around us 🥹

Nothing to complain about. We were cozy & enjoyed our stay. Some might complain about the walk up & down the alley (as car can't go near the homestay)but it was not a problem for us. We like a lil adventure. Also it's a hill station so that was pretty much expected since the location is a lil bit far from the mall road area. The views were incredible. UnAnd help was provided with our luggage 😊

Other than the hot Maggi and aloo paratha nothing was good about the property. Namrata the host shared pictures showing bathroom had shower however there were just shower knobs and no shower. Room No 1 had dirty bed sheet. The electric kettle wasn’t working. The electric bed heater was also not initially working. Property location is far from the Mall Road, that far that we had to come back to the shabby room by 8pm

The staff were all lovely. Tho spoken English was limited. The views would have been wonderful if only it hadn't been so foggy for all 4 days. I loved my upstairs room and the verandah outside. I am also thankful for the connection to Abinoy for my taxi rides.

Not having a shower was difficult. Using a bucket makes such a mess. At least if an absorbent foot mat is provided one can dry one's feet. Bathroom (rubbish left behind) and kitchen not very clean. Surfaces need regular wiping down. Very difficult, steep and rough location to get to with a heavy bag.

The view from home stay is really great! It's a bit far away from the mall road but overall it's good.

Finding location was a bit challenging because it's not near the main road. As this is a home stay so we can expect this.

Comfortable room. Wonderful staff. Great view of the mountains if you're lucky.

Breakfast could be more ambitious. Bedding could be cleaner.

Great deal. Best homestay while you are in Darjeeling. Owner and staff very welcoming. Everything was managed well

The best thing about the property is its balcony. We witnessed mighty Kanchanjunga from the balcony. It felt like a home away from home. It has a dry kitchen, dining and living area which make the property even more appealing. And the host Nomrota is amazing. She came from Shiliguri (her residence) just to host us. She helped us with travel tips, taxi, first aid and many more.
