We were there for a couple of days. Owner Namrata is very cooperative, polite and professional. The caretakers were extremely helpful as well. Overall Service was exceptional. The Rooms were cozy, with all required facilities available, except for central Heating which we didnt need at this time of the year, so it wasn't a problem. Beds were heated though. The house was very well decorated, clean and tidy. The view from the balcony is exceptional, though Kangchenjunga visibility is dependant on the weather. Only thing to call out is there is a ramp one has to walk to the location, and parking near the entrance is not an option, however this is a common for private houses in general. Overall, it was a great experience.

The property was neat and clean with a beautiful balcony. Namrata, the owner, is a warm welcoming person. However, she was not available at theproperty during my stay.

The place is very dimly lit. I suggest that there can be a few more bright lights in the place. The place is located quite a bit away from the main street from where the taxis to the mall is available. The worst bit about the property is the 'caretaker'. He is an a reluctant, careless person who is hardly available for any help. He would half heartedly show up 'drunk', if called for and would exclaim 'Do you expect me to do it for you???'. The purpose of his presence was very confusing, rather annoying.

The only thing that was up to standard was the kind service of the care taker Bhumika. I have travelled in India many, many times including at high altitude and this was THE worst experience!!

The room was FREEZING, the wooden walls have cracks and gaps and were too cold to touch even with a heater. There was considerable mold in the bathroom and on sills etc. General presentation sloppy e.g. hand soap empty. The inviting pictures of the garden etc were false. I looked down on dirt and rubbish. All the off site owner offered was: sorry. No assistance, no offer of a price reduction. Zero caring. Fellow guests also suffered from the cold 🥶.. and were NOT happy.
