Ranthambhore Bagh Dwar Camp

The owner took time to talk to us, ensured our safari bookings, we had great fresh food. The place is peaceful.

It was the perfect stay to enjoy Ranthambore National Park. The owner helped us to book our safaris each night for the next day and we would be picked up at the camp or the owner would drive us to a pickup spot. We seemed to be one of the closest stays to the park gate. The camp itself was beautiful and had traditional music shows all three nights we were there.

There were several resorts around the area and loud music could be heard several times throughout our stay

Really nice location, the host was kind, the rooms are clean. The pool is nice.

The breakfast and dinner are unfortunately really poor. At the evening we have been alone for the dinner and they invited or let in without asking us a music group, just to “entertain us”. It felt super forced and we asked kindly if they could leave. As we didn’t want to pay for a show we didn’t us for. They were ok about it, still felt weird and unnecessary.

The Camp area is very beautiful with a nice Pool and comfortable tents and little houses. Each tent had it's own little porch where you could sit and relax. The owner arranged four Safaris for us in the zones which had the Best sightings recently. This worked very well and we saw a Tiger 3 times. It's also only a 10 Minute driver from the Camp to the Main gate of the National Park. Everybody is very friendly. The owner even went to change monkey for us and did everything to make us feel comfortable. All in all we had a great experience in the Camp which was topped off by great Tiger sightings.

Only some very small Things. When the owner Was not there ist was a little difficult to communicate with anybody as none of the staff memebers did speak good english. Moreover, it would have been nice to have deck chairs at the Pool. Also they apparently only had one Menu. The head waiter then came to your room before dinner and you had to decide what you wanted to eat within 5 Minutes which was a little stressfull.

I had amazing 4 nights at Bagh Dwar Camp. Surinder and Renu are so welcoming and kind. I traveled alone and on one night I was the only guest - they had dinner with me and offered me to stay in the cottage rather than the tent to make me more comfortable. I loved the tent though and felt more than comfortable in it. With a beautiful private bathroom and aircon there was nothing I missed. Waking up to birds chirping rather than horns blowing was a welcome break to wind down during my India adventure. The meals at camp were amazing, too! Surinder booked all my Ranthambore safaris and I saw 3 adult tigers and 6 cubs in total - and of course plenty of other wildlife! Surinder was always in touch with the guides and up to date on what the tigers were up to. He gave me the best chances and I had the most magical wildlife encounters. On my last morning I visited the fort and Surinder dropped me off at the park and picked me up again once I was done exploring. His wife, Renu gave me the biggest compliment by comparing me to a tigress and I will definitely come back! Thank you, Singh family, for this wonderful wilderness escape!

Surinder, our host / owner, was exceptional. Going above and beyond any expectations we had. I have always wanted to do a safari from a camp base, and this was exactly how l thought a luxury stay would be and we are on a budget. Surinder organised and took an interest in our safari's. Gave us advise on safety, checked our upcoming train schedule for moving on. Offered to help with any other travel we may need help with. Took us to the train station himself, come to the platform with us carrying most of our luggage. Arranged a porter for us at a fare price to make sure we got to the right carriage and seats. Surinder you are a true kind considerate gentleman. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was to much trouble. Our tent was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the aircon was very efficient. The camp itself had been really well thought out. A lovely much appreciated swimming pool. RajasthanI band of musicians, welcomed us with a 30-minute performance in the evening. In our opinion, this was one of the best stays we have had anywhere on our travel and would definitely recommend a stay here

It's an amazing place to stay ..the best property if you wish to stay near the national park under best budget. Surinder Singh is an amazing host . He took care of us very well.For Tiger Sighting,Bagh Dwar Camp is the place to be. Had 10 on 10 experience at Bagh Dwar Camp. Would love to come again !

The place is heaven, we are living in UAE if I compare natural Green fresh Air and Owner offered fresh veggies grown in their garden. Food was amazing, host was also very nice and staff were very friendly. He helped us for the Jungle Safari. Camp was very well organized and they maintained high standards for hygiene. Lucky due to beginning of season I got this place in very good price and I felt service like 5 star.

One of shower in the pool area was not working, but this doesn't matter as we used the next one.

Nice tents, each has its own little porch you can sit on. Spacious bathroom. Bed and bathroom were super clean. Close to some of the entries to the national park. Safaris can be booked through the hotel. The owner was extremely nice and helpful, we felt well taken care of. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We would stay here again.
