Cowgirl Palace

The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. The bed is so comfortable that it's hard to get up! The distance to Sag Harbor is less than 5 minutes so it's very convenient. All in all I give it a 10

First of all, this is not a hotel - but an AirBNB-style room at the host's house, which is fine but could be communicated more clearly. The host was not around when we arrived at 3pm (agreed on check-in time), with no welcome note or anything to even make us feel like we were at the right place. The only exchange we had with her was when she came to check in on us for 30 seconds a couple of hours later - no exchange for the rest of the stay. No word about coffee in the morning (might've been available, but we didn't snoop in the kitchen as it really felt like we were relatively unwelcome guests into someone's home). I cannot blame them - hosting strangers in your home might be a weird and uncomfortable thing, but for the price paid (top dollar, five star hotel prices in most cities if this wasn't the Hamptons on Labor Day), it did definitely feel like very poor value for money.
